Our story
A mentorship that stayed in town.
Thomson Plumbing and Heating was launched in 1994 by Gerry and Kathie Thomson, with a dream to live in a small town and a passion for residential service work.
In 2005 the company hired David Wooster as an apprentice. Dave became a journeyman plumber and gas fitter in 2008. Gerry taught him the importance of the service industry.
In 2013 Dave and his wife Carene took over. Gerry continued for three years as part of the service team, and he and Kathie mentored the next generation. The site also introduces Hunter Wooster as an apprentice.
